A student and I are working on this drawing with rubberbands. The process is very slow but we don't have a set idea so it makes it interesting.

Meatwad and Hangers

Here is the start of the hangers piece that we are working on. I'm thinking it will hang from the ceiling like a cargo net.It might make some cool shadows with the overhead lights.

My students are working on a project in groups of two using everyday object to make sculptures. There was an odd number so I am working with a student. We are using clothes hangers. She made this small piece today.

Cereal Killer

A project originated from a friend's idea to use cereal boxes to make art (Lynne Ghenov). With my sculpture class we learned about installations and made this one until we ran out of boxes.

Also, I found a cool site of old cereal boxes. Jets? Tutti Frutti Twinkles?

My favorite growing up was Fruity Pebbles. I only ate them at a friends house because Mom said they had too much sugar.

Yes, I did lose my fingers.

Its true, for sometime now i have been living with out fingers. I didn't like them so i got rid or them. some new ones are coming in the mail soon. "How am i typing then?" you ask, with my nose, tongue, chin, and eyelids (basically my face).

Sick and Six Feet Under

I've been feeling ill since mid last week, and being sick with without cable sucks! Luckily our local library his some great shows on DVD including Six Feet Under. What an awesome show. Just about to finish up season one,...4 more seasons left.

From Red Hook to Greenpoint
