Meatwad and Hangers

Here is the start of the hangers piece that we are working on. I'm thinking it will hang from the ceiling like a cargo net.It might make some cool shadows with the overhead lights.

Mark is very precise about his juxtapositions. When the student proposed to place "Meatwad" on the wall I had massive reservations, however seeing Mark's process here, it all makes sense. Mark is the sensai!

Rubix you doubted "Meatwad"?!!

Is this a vegeterian thing? or a "Captain Crunch is better for art stemuli thing"?

Don't hate Rub-a-dub, don't hate!

Naw, I wasn't down with the captain crunch bit either. It goes back to all of this "...al I wanna do is cartoons..." crapOsho jazz, y'know. I think captain was a little better because he could've been part of something, he could've been holding something, his clothes might've changed. Basically he had a little potentiality. Meatwad is simply introverted in this context, dude is red and doesn't seem to open up any possibilities for the composition. Captain was also painted quite horribly. Nonetheless, the hangers still hang on!
